Workshop
Workshop on Digital Twin Technology to System Engineering - DT Tech 2020

8 - 10 July, 2020

In conjunction with the 10th International Conference on Simulation and Modeling Methodologies, Technologies and Applications - SIMULTECH 2020

CHAIR

Mamadou Traore
University of Bordeaux
France

Brief Bio
Mamadou K. Traoré is full Professor at the University of Bordeaux. His current research focus on Simulation and Artificial Intelligence for System Engineering. He is author/co-author of several books, journal papers and publication in international conferences. He has chaired many international events on Simulation and is involved in various scientific communities.

SCOPE

With the rapid development of digitalization at all levels of society, the Digital Twin (DT) technology is emerging as one of the key research directions in many areas, ranging from manufacturing to healthcare, architecture, smart cities, etc. However, the concept and therefore use of Digital Twin is variously understood in different scientific communities. Though, there are methods, tools and building blocks that can be formalized to provide a unified support to the Digital Twin technology that is transversal to all application domains. This workshop aims at exploring the spectrum of Digital Twin approaches, promoting cross-fertilization and paving the way to a true Digital Twin science.

Topics

Relevant topics include the following (but are not limited to):
  • Digital Twin Modeling
  • Digital Twin Simulation
  • Digital Twin Engineering
  • Digital Twin Driven System Engineering
  • Digital Twin Driven System Management
